During the creation of a mosaic, each tile is used multiple times. Up until now, you could adjust the minimum amount of distance between two identical tiles among the settings („minimum distance” setting). However, if the source image had mostly large areas filled with the same or a very similar color, the repeating tiles could create a regularly repeating pattern within the mosaic. In some cases, it ruined the overall effect of the mosaic. You can see this phenomenon on the left side image.
Thanks to our new development, this unwanted pattern can no longer appear on the mosaics from today onwards, so the mosaics created on our site can appear more natural and look nicer.
